On the 22nd day of July 2024, the Conduct of Needs Assessment and Data Gathering Workshop on the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS) System Analysis and Reporting System Design was held at the Harold’s Evotel in Quezon City. The event, which was facilitated by the MISD, PADS-PMO, and AAI, was participated by 33 representatives from different agencies.
The workshop on the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy System Analysis and Reporting System Design aimed to evaluate the advancement of PADS system implementation, the submission process, and the challenges encountered by the participating agencies.
The discussions focused on the digital transformation recommendations to enhance efficiency, particularly the discussion over consolidated versus separate submissions. Security concerns regarding data access and integrity were extensively discussed, leading to a consensus on the need for robust security protocols. In addition, all agencies emphasized the importance of secure reporting mechanisms to protect sensitive information while adhering to PADS guidelines.
The activity concluded with a clear understanding of each agency’s needs and challenges related to PADS implementation. Participants expressed optimism about collaborative efforts and the importance of ongoing communication and coordination.

On the 20th day of August 2024, the Conduct of PADS-ARMS SSAD: Data Harmonization Workshop took place at the Cocoon Boutique Hotel, Quezon City with 22 participants from various agencies in attendance.
In line with the conduct of PADS-ARMS SSAD, the workshop aimed to assess the current system gaps, review its process flows, and harmonize the data fields to enhance the effectiveness of the PADS system implementation.
The meeting concluded with a consensus on the necessary system enhancements such as role-based profiles, user interface improvements, and data security measures were highlighted.

On the 27th day ofSeptember 2024, the Presentation on the Result of the Structured System Analysis and Design (SSAD) of PADS-ARMS to ICAD and Non-ICAD Agencies was conducted at Harold’s Evotel with 18 representatives from various agencies. The event was facilitated by the MISD, PADS-PMO, and AAI.
The topics discussed revolved around the detailed final business process flow, updated list of PADS-ARMS Modules and Data Fields, and the overview of the system prototype.
The event concluded with the MISD committing to prepare the necessary documents for the enhancement of the PADS-ARMS and to continually coordinate with stakeholders to ensure its successful deployment.
